This place bake delicious and lustrous cakes and pastries! We love their nougat rings! You should try it!

At the moment, it's all about the cake, and we can definitely recommend it. Nice terrace, I don't like the interior that much, could be more cozy

The middle-aged lady, who didn't even pay homage to me and my companion with a simple "Hello", was unfortunately anything but customer-friendly and courteous. I'm pretty sure that the corona pandemic will benefit her in at least one point, because that way she can hide her lousy face behind a so-called mouth and nose protection. The coffee for € 2.80, mind you, is not even close to the price. Many greetings from a disappointed tourist from sunny Central Franconia.

Landed here after the cable car. Unfortunately a failure. Service in the cafe completely unmotivated and unfriendly. Coffee like water. Also the apple strudel is not worth mentioning. Ice cream also tasted like water. Not to be recommended in any way!

Nice garden in summer, friendly service and great care when disinfecting the tables. The large parking lot in front of the house. But the best: the many delicious homemade cakes and pies. There's nothing better in the area.

Unfriendly wait staff, napkins or cutlery are missing. I can't judge the quality of the cake as I ate a waffle. It wasn't as tasty as I would expect in a pastry shop.

The cake tastes very good. The lady at the sales counter was very friendly, in contrast to the waitress in the café. She looked very "unmotivated". Ambience looks a bit older.

Popped in after a mountain tour on a sunny Sunday: It wasn't busy, but there was hardly 1 free table outside clean. annoyed, unfriendly service! Lentil soup came lukewarm, sausage on top was cold. Even after warming up, taste like a can / baby glass, completely loveless. apple strudel was good. stay with "cake baking" and leave out the hearty dishes!

On September 22nd, 2020: unfriendly v. Waiter 8 received, had to about 10 minutes. on d. Wait for order, after 29min. Only the iced coffee came - cheese cream lasts - after another 10 minutes. It was said that she was being approached after another 10 minutes. suddenly there was no more cream cheese. Quite a few new guests were simply left standing, when they moved to free tables they were "expelled" again because they had not yet been cleaned. Local guests were allowed to take off - although tables were not yet cleaned - u. could order immediately and got the goods immediately. Other (bus) guests had to call five times to pay while the locals were allowed to pay immediately! Other guests sometimes had to call 3-4 times until they were served. The service was totally overwhelmed and therefore not exactly the friendliest. This shortcoming is attributable to the operators !! For a café that praises itself highly, this is not a figurehead !! By the way: Iced coffee for € 5.50 is not a reasonable price either!

A great garden under chestnut trees invite you to linger. Large selection of really delicious cakes and pies. With yeast dumplings, fresh waffles, apple strudel and ice cream. We enjoyed it.

Very fine cakes, very good coffee, beautiful garden spaces, friendly wait staff, hygiene regulations very good and great parking options right at the cafè. I can only recommend!

Out of sheer desperation, because it was way too full at the cable car, we ended up at Cafe König. Cake extremely tasty! Friendly service and the alcoholic drinks taste as they should. The beautiful café garden invites you to linger for hours with some Aperol Sprizz or Lillet Wild Berry😏

The cake, chocolates and coffee are very good. The service is good but we didn't like the decor that much.

Nice classic cafe with friendly service and good cakes. Cozy both inside and outside. I always like to come back here. The cards for the guest data are on the table to fill out and a sign shows whether the table has already been cleaned and can be filled again. A very good system.

There are delicious cakes here. The ice cream cups with homemade ice cream are particularly good. You can really enjoy it in the garden
